Project Campus Lucerne

The project “Campus Lucerne– Joint PhD Support” supports the cooperation in the area of doctoral training between the University of Lucerne, the Lucerne University of Teacher Education (PHLU) and the Lucerne University of applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU). The aim is to boost the attractiveness of a doctorate especially at the PHLU and HSLU. In addition to cooperation regarding doctoral supervision, Campus Lucerne offers joint research colloquia in the field of economics as well as a very broad range of available courses in order to further develop and expand methodological and interdisciplinary research skills. The various activities of Campus Lucerne encourage exchange and networking of those interested in research at the three Lucerne Universities by creating spaces in which this is possible.

The project Campus Lucerne is being funded from 2021 to 2024 by the  swissuniversities project-linked contributions (PgB) in the area of “Doctoral programs – cooperation between Swiss universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education and universities of applied sciences in the field of doctoral studies”. The project complements and expands the previous project from 2017-2020.
